Range Rover Classic Vinile: The Off-Roader Reborn in Maranello in Its Final Form
A British icon reimagined with Italian soul and luxury craftsmanship, unveiled at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show.

After turning heads at Milan Design Week, the Range Rover Classic Vinile is now making its official debut in final production form at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show (September 24–27). This exclusive restomod, conceived and developed in Maranello, blends the original spirit of the legendary British 4×4 with a new level of refinement, technology, and exclusivity. Choosing Monaco as the stage perfectly reflects Vinile’s vision: bringing together tradition, luxury, and innovation in a single vehicle.
From England to the Motor Valley
Vinile was founded by three entrepreneurs with decades of experience in the automotive world, supported by a team of more than 100 engineers, designers, mechanics, test drivers, and specialists. Their collective expertise has led to a reinterpretation of the 1970s Range Rover Classic, staying faithful to its original proportions while incorporating thoroughly updated components. Highlights include hand-finished body panels, redesigned bumpers, modern LED headlights, a rear diffuser, spoiler, and 16-inch wheels that retain the classic sizing, a sharp contrast to today’s 20- to 24-inch offerings.
Interior: Classic Luxury Enhanced by Modern Technology

Inside, the atmosphere remains charmingly vintage, enriched by state-of-the-art technology and premium materials. A 10.1-inch central touchscreen, developed in-house and compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, takes center stage. Surrounding it are leather, aluminum, briar wood, and tactile physical buttons, creating an interior that blends modern sophistication with nostalgic craftsmanship, accompanied by a finely tuned audio system for a high-end experience.
V8 Power and Four-Wheel Drive, Just Like the Originals
Under the hood, original 3.5-, 3.9-, or 4.3-liter V8 engines remain, delivering roughly 200 hp and 300 Nm of torque. Power is sent through a permanent four-wheel-drive system and a four-speed automatic transmission, preserving the mechanical authenticity of the original model. The biggest upgrades lie in the chassis tuning, now more neutral and refined, improving handling while maintaining its unmistakable character.
Limited Production, Collector’s Pricing
The first model to hit the road will be the five-door version, while three-door and long-wheelbase variants are already under development. Production will be strictly limited to just 15 units, with prices starting at €310,000. This project doesn’t simply revive a legend—it elevates it to the realm of handcrafted automotive art, born in Maranello, the beating heart of automotive excellence.
