Fiat 600 Hybrid: The Return of an Icon to Argentina with Electrified Technology
The Italian brand revives a historic classic with a modern, sustainable, and tech-forward approach.

Fiat is ushering in a new era in Argentina with the arrival of the new Fiat 600 Hybrid, the first electrified vehicle the Italian brand will sell in the country. This is a contemporary reinterpretation of the legendary 1955 Fiat 600 — a model that shaped generations and now returns to blend the legacy of an icon with today’s sustainable mobility. The brand has confirmed that official pricing will be revealed on October 20, 2025, during its media launch event.
Italian Design Meets Mild-Hybrid Power

The new Fiat 600 Hybrid features a mild-hybrid powertrain composed of a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo engine paired with a 48V lithium-ion battery, delivering a combined output of 145 hp. This lightweight technology allows the vehicle to run fully electric during everyday maneuvers, such as starting, parking, or heavy traffic situations. Additionally, the regenerative braking system recharges the battery during deceleration, enabling urban journeys with minimal emissions and reduced fuel consumption.
e-DCT Transmission for a Smooth and Agile Drive
The powertrain is paired with a six-speed dual-clutch e-DCT automatic transmission with electric assistance, which can be operated via paddle shifters. This setup provides fast and smooth gear changes, enhancing acceleration response and delivering a quiet, agile, and fluid driving experience—ideal for modern city life. With a 385-liter boot, the model retains practicality while embracing a fully renewed aesthetic.
Dolce Vita Style with State-of-the-Art Tech
The new 600 stands out for its modern, sophisticated design inspired by the Italian Dolce Vita, complemented by an exclusive palette of vibrant colors that highlight its urban and pop personality. Inside, it features a 10.1-inch customizable central display, automatic climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with DRL and cornering light, and a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). It also includes six airbags, a rear spoiler, and multiple comfort features that position it as one of the most well-equipped compact models in its class.
A Key Step in Fiat’s Electrification Strategy
The Fiat 600 Hybrid marks a milestone in the brand’s electrification strategy for Latin America, representing a turning point in its regional lineup. Fiat is betting on a model that blends heritage, innovation, and sustainability, aiming to attract both nostalgic fans of the classic 600 and a younger audience seeking efficiency and style. All pricing and commercial details will be announced on October 20, 2025, making this one of Argentina’s most anticipated launches of the year.
