New Opel Grandland Long Range: the electric SUV with 694 km of range now priced in Spain
The updated Opel Grandland 2025 arrives with versions for every driver, but its Long Range variant stands out for its record-breaking range and advanced German technology.
The new Opel Grandland 2025 has officially landed in the Spanish market, offering a lineup that blends performance, efficiency, and cutting-edge technology. For the fully electric versions, buyers can choose between maximum driving range or higher performance, depending on their needs. The Ultimate model, with 325 hp and all-wheel drive, is the sportier choice, but for those who prioritize long-distance travel with minimal charging stops, the Grandland Long Range is the ideal pick.
694 km of range and top-tier technology
The Opel Grandland Long Range delivers an impressive 694 km of certified range, placing it among the most efficient electric SUVs available today. Its 230 hp electric motor enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.8 seconds and a top speed limited to 170 km/h. In Spain, prices start at €51,649 for the Edition trim, which also includes a home wallbox charger as standard.
For drivers seeking a sportier look, the GS trim slightly reduces range to 692 km and raises the price to €55,291. Both variants are powered by a 98 kWh net battery, capable of charging at up to 11 kW on AC and 160 kW on DC, allowing for fast top-ups when needed. However, a full home charge will take just over 10 hours if your charging point delivers 11 kW.

When it comes to space and comfort, the Grandland Long Range shares its platform with the Peugeot E-3008 and Jeep Compass, measuring 4.65 meters in length. It offers a generous 550-liter boot, spacious rear seats, and a cabin packed with standard features: dual 10-inch digital displays, LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, 19-inch alloy wheels, and an extensive suite of driver-assistance systems.
Finally, Opel expands the range with mild-hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions. The mild-hybrid Grandland produces 145 hp and starts from €38,399, while the 195 hp PHEV version is priced from €45,450. Buyers can also opt for key extras like the heat pump (€674)—to preserve range in extreme temperatures—or the navigation pack (€482), which adds a 16-inch touchscreen with smart route and charging point information. Together, these options make the Grandland 2025 one of the most versatile and technologically complete SUVs in its class.
