2027 Chevrolet Bolt

The 2027 Chevrolet Bolt is the most affordable EV in Chevrolet’s range, with a starting price of $28,995 for the LT trim. It uses a 65-kWh battery pack that delivers an EPA-estimated 262 miles of range.

A single electric motor produces 210 horsepower and 169 lb-ft of torque, while standard equipment includes an 11.3-inch touchscreen, a NACS charging port, rear parking sensors and automatic climate control.

The RS trim adds features such as ventilated front seats, ambient lighting and unique exterior styling.

2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV

The 2026 Chevrolet Equinox EV is available in LT 1, LT 2 and RS trims with either front- or all-wheel drive.

The Equinox EV offers up to 319 miles of range and a spacious cabin with a large 17.7-inch infotainment screen.

Front-wheel-drive versions offer up to 319 miles of range, while all-wheel-drive models provide 300 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque. The entry-level LT 1 starts at $36,795.

Standard equipment includes a 17.7-inch touchscreen, Google Built-In, 19-inch wheels and automatic high beams.

2026 Chevrolet Blazer EV

The Blazer EV is the performance-oriented SUV in Chevrolet’s electric lineup.

The Blazer EV SS delivers up to 615 horsepower and performance-focused technology, including available Super Cruise.

LT and RS front-wheel-drive models provide up to 312 miles of range, while the high-performance Blazer EV SS produces 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque.

Chevrolet estimates a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds for the SS model. The Blazer EV starts at $46,495 and includes a 17.7-inch touchscreen, HD Surround Vision and available Super Cruise technology.

2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV

The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV is Chevrolet’s electric pickup and offers the broadest range of configurations in the lineup.

The Silverado EV combines long driving range, high towing capacity and advanced truck technology.

Depending on the battery and trim level, it delivers up to 478 miles of range and supports DC fast charging up to 350 kW. The truck is available in Custom, LT, Trail Boss and RST Stars & Steel Edition trims.

The Extended Range versions can tow up to 12,500 pounds, while the Max Range LT equipped with Wide Open Watts produces up to 760 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque.

Production could begin in 2029

The production version could be built in Mexico and become Ford’s most affordable model.

Reports indicate that a new hybrid crossover is scheduled to enter production in 2029 at Ford’s Hermosillo Assembly Plant in Mexico, and that model could be the same vehicle presented during the dealer event.

Even drivers rarely celebrate Sprint victories with the same emotion as a traditional race win. That weakens the perception of the format among fans and reduces its long-term value. Many observers argue that Sprint races feel like additional content rather than a competition with genuine significance.

Another concern is the growing workload. Expanding to 10 Sprint weekends would effectively create 34 race events across a 24-round season, increasing the physical and mental demands on drivers and team personnel.

A different approach could improve the format

One proposal is to replace the third practice session with a Sprint race, allowing qualifying to take place earlier on Saturday and making the Sprint the main event of the day.
