The Suzuki Jimny Becomes the Perfect Off-Road Camper for Just €21,900
Japanese company White House Camper transforms the legendary Suzuki Jimny into an ideal home on wheels for two adventurers, combining off-road spirit with total freedom.

The Suzuki Jimny Nomade Pop has become the new must-have for adventure lovers. Although the small Japanese 4×4 is no longer sold in Spain, it remains one of the most beloved off-roaders for its reliability, compact size, and affordable price. Now, with this camper version unveiled at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show in Tokyo, the Jimny once again stirs excitement among those dreaming of limitless travel.
A Camper Conversion as Practical as It Is Ingenious

The White House Camper company, based in Nagoya, has carried out a masterful transformation of the five-door Suzuki Jimny, known in Japan as the Nomade. This choice is no coincidence: the short-roof version of the Jimny simply doesn’t have enough space to fit the pop-up roof tent, which is the core of this camper build. Measuring 3.89 meters long and 1.72 meters tall, the vehicle keeps its compact essence but gains serious versatility thanks to a 202×108 cm rooftop bed that’s accessible from inside the cabin.
Moreover, the manually operated pop-up roof allows two adults to sleep comfortably and features zippered windows for ventilation and natural light. You can even stand upright inside the tent to change clothes – all without losing the ruggedness or identity that defines the original Jimny.
Engine, Dimensions, and Adventure Spirit Intact
Under the hood, it retains the 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 102 hp and 130 Nm of torque, paired with either a manual or automatic gearbox. Despite the camper modifications, its 210 mm of ground clearance and 1,180 kg curb weight ensure that this mini camper remains a true off-roader at heart. The 211-liter boot stays practical for short trips, while the folded roof raises the total height to 1.81 meters.
Price, Options, and Availability
The full conversion, including the pop-up roof installation, starts at 3,894,000 yen (around €21,900), rising to 3,993,000 yen (€22,500) with the automatic transmission. Several customization options are available, such as Arctic White Pearl paint for €185, a black roof for €310, or 10-inch LED roof lights for €475.
Pre-orders are already open in Japan, with first deliveries scheduled for January 2026. Once again, the compact Suzuki Jimny proves that you don’t need a big budget to live big adventures.
