The Nissan Pathfinder 2026 is Renewed: Adventurous Design, Three Rows, and Rock Creek Version
Nissan has revealed the new Pathfinder 2026, a crucial update to consolidate this three-row SUV in its global strategy.
For the 2026 model, the Nissan Pathfinder arrives with a more robust exterior design. It features updated front and rear fascias, along with satin emblems. The new Baltic Blue color is added to the options.
Furthermore, the higher-end versions, SL and Platinum, incorporate black roof rails. Specifically, the Platinum top trim features a new 20-inch wheel design. The seats have quilted patterns, and the interior includes wood-tone details.
Digital Cabin and Advanced Safety
The vehicle’s interior was redesigned, integrating a larger standard touchscreen. Also, the embossed “PATHFINDER” inscription below the infotainment system stands out.
Regarding safety, the Nissan Safety Shield 360 system is standard on all versions. Moreover, SV trims and above include the ProPILOT Assist system and Intelligent Cruise Control. These assists aim to simplify long trips on the road. The Pathfinder 2026 maintains the 5-star overall safety rating from the NHTSA.
Versatility, Powertrain, and Towing
The Pathfinder maintains its proven family versatility with a spacious three-row cabin. The SUV has seating for eight passengers. However, it is possible to opt for seven seats if the captain’s individual seats are chosen for the second row. Nissan’s LATCH AND GLIDE technology facilitates access to the third row. It allows folding and sliding the seats even with a child safety seat installed.
The cargo capacity is significant: the trunk offers 470 liters (16.6 cubic feet) behind the third row. This capacity expands up to 2,279 liters (80.5 cubic feet) with the two rear rows folded down. Under the hood, the SUV is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers 284 HP. This engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The standard towing capacity is 1,588 kg (3,500 pounds), increasing to 2,722 kg (6,000 pounds) in the Rock Creek, Platinum, and Premium package versions.

The Adventure Touch: Pathfinder Rock Creek
The Rock Creek version consolidates itself as the ideal option for off-road enthusiasts. This model includes intelligent 4×4 traction as standard. The Rock Creek is differentiated by a suspension tuned for rough terrain. Additionally, it features increased ride height and all-terrain tires. Its exterior design is exclusive, with a unique grille, bumpers, and tubular roof rack. The new Rock Creek Premium package adds amenities, such as the panoramic roof, wireless charging, and a heated steering wheel.
The new Nissan Pathfinder 2026 will be available in S, SV, Rock Creek, SL, and Platinum trims. It will arrive at dealerships in early 2026 in the United States. Final prices will be announced shortly, but the starting value of the range is expected to be around $37,000.
