Euro NCAP Test November 2025: 18 out of 23 Cars Achieve Five Stars in the Latest Test
Euro NCAP has published the results of its most extensive test of the year. The organization evaluated a total of 23 new cars just before the introduction of the stricter protocols planned for 2026. An impressive number of 18 automobiles obtained the maximum five-star rating.
The real difference among five-star vehicles lies in the percentages obtained. These values distinguish the safest models for today’s buyer. Among the most highlighted models, the Leapmotor B10 excelled. It achieved a remarkable 93% in adult and child protection. Furthermore, it scored 84% for vulnerable road users and 85% in assistants.
Secondly, the Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupé and the Hongqi EHS7 reached an excellent 93% in adult protection. Both showed minimal differences in the other categories. For its part, the Volvo EX90 impressed in the large segment. It obtained 92% adult protection and 93% child protection. The Swedish vehicle added 86% in active assistance systems.
The Dominance of the SUV Segment
The SUV segment has confirmed its popularity and, notably, its safety. Several models showed excellent levels of protection. These include the Tesla Model Y, Kia EV5, Skoda Enyaq and Elroq, Subaru Solterra, and Toyota bZ4X.

Specifically, the Tesla Model Y achieved a notable 91% for adults and 93% for children. Other interesting results came from the Lucid Gravity and the MGS9 PHEV. Both achieved 83% in adult protection. Nonetheless, the Gravity distinguished itself with an excellent 93% in child protection. Finally, the CUPRA Formentor also stood out with 91% adult protection.
Other Relevant Results and Lower Ratings
The analysis of the final results revealed more data. For example, the Volkswagen ID.3 obtained 87% child protection. Other models such as the Volkswagen Multivan and Caddy received a four-star rating. Additionally, the Nissan Qashqai and Toyota Yaris Cross also achieved four stars, with 78% and 79% in adult protection, respectively. The November 2025 test highlights the high safety of the current vehicle fleet. However, it also emphasizes the need to compare the detailed percentage scores.
