The Bugatti Brouillard: An Exclusive One-Off That’s Very Green—Even Inside
The owner commissioned it as a homage to founder Ettore Bugatti’s favorite horse. This one-off debuts the exclusive Solitaire personalization program.
If you have money to spare, you can start by commissioning a unique Bugatti. So, meet the Bugatti Brouillard. It is, quite simply, the greenest car we have ever seen.
The car features two-tone bodywork. Furthermore, air ducts behind the glass roof are stamped “W16.” This indicates the mid-engine. Bugatti does not mention the word “Chiron” in its press release. However, it does state the Brouillard is built on its W16 platform. This platform uses the legendary quad-turbocharged engine. Therefore, we are talking about a Chiron.
The interior is, arguably, the pièce de résistance. Pistacchio-hued leather wraps the seats, armrests, and dashboard. Olive-toned carbon fiber arcs throughout the cabin. It even applies woven tartan fabric to the door cards. It also uses this material on the steering wheel and seat inserts. You must respect the extensive color-drenching, even if green is not your thing.

The Founder’s Equine Legacy
What about the equine motif? Bugatti affirms the owner is a huge fan of the brand. He wanted to capture Ettore Bugatti’s love of horses. Brouillard gave this one-off its name. This was Ettore’s most cherished horse. In this way, Brouillard inspires the embroidered patterns on the doors and seats. In addition, the machined aluminum gear shifter contains a glass insert. Inside, they sculpted Brouillard’s likeness.
The Bugatti Brouillard is the first creation from Bugatti’s Solitaire program. To us, Solitaire is a game. To Bugatti, it is a way to deliver an even more personalized client experience. It seems the sky is the limit here. Bugatti assures they will not compromise performance, quality, or design. Each Solitaire will be unique. Hence, it will offer unparalleled attention to detail. We believe them! The Solitaire program will only produce two cars per year. These will be based on existing chassis and powertrains. The real focus will be on bespoke bodywork and cabin details.
