Tesla launches its most affordable models in Spain: Model 3 and Model Y Standard

By  |

The new entry-level versions offer up to 534 km of range and prices starting at €39,990, with financing available from just €299 per month.

Tesla has delivered on its promise and is now offering its most affordable models in Spain: the Model 3 Standard and the Model Y Standard. These are the new entry-level versions of the lineup, with more competitive prices and ranges exceeding 500 km, making them some of the most attractive electric options on today’s market.

Model Y Standard: class-leading range

The Tesla Model Y Standard debuts with 534 km of WLTP range, rear-wheel drive, 0–100 km/h in 7.2 seconds, and a top speed of 201 km/h. Pricing starts at €39,990 outright, or with financing at €449 per month. Standard equipment includes Stealth Grey paint, 18-inch Aperture wheels, and Basic Autopilot, while the Wall Connector for home charging is available for an additional €535.

Model 3 Standard: faster with the same price tag

For those who prefer a sedan, the Tesla Model 3 Standard is also priced from €39,990, though monthly financing drops to just €299. Its range is slightly lower at 520 km WLTP, but it compensates with stronger performance: 0–100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. Standard features include Pearl White paint, 18-inch Photon wheels, and Basic Autopilot, with the same electronically limited top speed of 201 km/h.

The big absentee: the Tesla Roadster

While deliveries of the Standard versions are scheduled between November and December, there is still no news about the long-awaited Tesla Roadster, initially promised for 2020 and later postponed to 2024. Even customers who placed €43,000 reservations in 2023 remain without a clear delivery date. The sports car—expected to achieve 0–100 km/h in under one second with the optional SpaceX package—remains a mystery within Tesla’s lineup.

A strategic move for the European market

The arrival of these two models underscores Tesla’s strategy to expand its customer base in Europe by offering more accessible EVs without sacrificing performance or technology. With competitive ranges, attractive pricing, and flexible financing, the Model 3 and Model Y Standard are set to become key players in consolidating electric mobility across the continent.
