Street-Legal Ferrari 599XX: The Extreme Talos XXT

Talos Vehicles transforms the iconic 599 GTB into a V12 race car fully legal for the road.

Talos Vehicles, the British company specializing in high-performance, limited-run cars, has unveiled its latest project: the Talos XXT, a sports car based on the Ferrari 599 GTB that combines the essence of the 599XX race car with street-legal capabilities. After two years of development, the result is a vehicle that pushes the boundaries of power and design in a road-going model.

Extreme Engine and Performance

Each Talos XXT is equipped with a modified 6.0-liter V12 engine, delivering 674 hp and 624 Nm of torque, 54 more horsepower than the original 599 GTB. The six-speed F1 Superfast transmission with paddle shifters ensures lightning-fast gear changes, with an optional manual gearbox also available. Talos claims the XXT can hit 0-100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km/h, making it one of the fastest street-legal Ferraris ever built.

The Talos XXT impresses not only with its engine but also with its custom carbon fiber bodywork, inspired by the 599XX race car. It features 20-inch forged wheels, optional single-nut hubs, and is available with left- or right-hand drive, catering to the most demanding clients.

Production is limited to just five units, and each buyer can customize details such as paint, interior upholstery, matte or gloss finishes, as well as upgrades for the engine, transmission, exhaust, optional roll cage, and in-car entertainment systems. This project makes the Talos XXT a truly unique engineering masterpiece in the world of supercars.

Ferrari produced the 599 GTB Fiorano from 2006 to 2012, including variants like the 599 GTO, later replaced by the F12berlinetta and the 12Cilindri. The Talos XXT starts at £950,000 (approximately €1.07 million) and requires a donor 599 GTB. All units are built in Yorkshire, England, where Talos has also developed special editions of the Porsche 911, Fiat 500, Ford S2000, and Land Rover Defender.
