Range Rover Classic Vinile: the British Off-Roader Reborn in Maranello

By  |

The Italian restomod makes its official debut at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show, limited to just 15 units and priced from €310,000.

After its first appearance at Milan Design Week, the Range Rover Classic by Vinile now takes center stage in its definitive form at the 2025 Monaco Yacht Show. Based in Maranello, the Italian brand has reimagined the legendary 1970s off-roader, blending its timeless proportions with handcrafted luxury and modern technology.

From England to the heart of Motor Valley

Founded by three entrepreneurs with decades of automotive experience, Vinile has assembled a team of over 100 engineers, designers, and mechanics to bring this vision to life. The result is a restomod faithful to the original Range Rover Classic, yet updated with hand-finished body panels, redesigned bumpers, LED headlights, a rear diffuser, spoiler, and 16-inch wheels that preserve the vintage look despite today’s much larger SUV standards.

Inside, the cabin retains its vintage atmosphere with leather, burl wood, and aluminum, while introducing contemporary touches such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen running Vinile’s proprietary infotainment system, fully compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A meticulously tuned audio setup and physical buttons further emphasize the blend of tradition and innovation.

Under the hood, customers can choose between the original 3.5, 3.9, or 4.3-liter V8 engines, each producing around 200 hp and 300 Nm of torque. These are paired with four-wheel drive and a four-speed automatic gearbox, complemented by a suspension setup fine-tuned for a more neutral response than the original. The first model debuts as a five-door, while Vinile is already developing three-door and long-wheelbase versions.

Exclusivity at its finest

The Range Rover Classic Vinile is built for prestige, not volume: only 15 units will be produced, each handcrafted to order. With a starting price of €310,000, this restomod is aimed at collectors and enthusiasts seeking a reinterpretation of a British icon through the craftsmanship of Maranello. A tribute to history, elevated by Italian design and engineering.
