New 2026 Omoda 5: Cheap Chinese SUV, 211 HP, Zero Emissions Label, Fully Equipped… €19,690!

The Omoda 5 EV 2026 arrives in Spain with a power increase and an aggressive launch offer.

The electric version of the Omoda 5 does not lag behind its competitors like the Hyundai KONA or Kia EV3. However, the 2026 Model Year boosts power up to 155 kW (211 HP). The outgoing version delivered 150 kW (204 HP). Nevertheless, the new model’s torque is lower (288 Nm) compared to the previous 340 Nm. The battery maintains its 61 kWh capacity. Consequently, it homologates up to 430 km of WLTP range.

Comprehensive Equipment and ADAS Safety

The lineup debuts the entry-level Pure trim, already known from the 2026 Omoda 5 Hybrid. In fact, the model includes seven airbags and dual-zone climate control. Furthermore, the SUV benefits from a 12.3-inch curved dual screen and a multimedia system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Alloy wheels and a multi-function steering wheel complete the equipment. The manufacturer also prioritized safety. The Omoda 5 incorporates 19 driving assistants (ADAS). Aside from this, it includes a rear-view camera and Full LED headlights and taillights.

Aggressive Launch Offer

Currently, the Chinese SUV with the Zero Emissions label appears subtly on the Spanish website. The manufacturer is firmly committed to offers to win over customers from the very first second. The new Omoda 5 MY26 EV Pure 155 kW (211 HP) has a promotional price of €19,690. To qualify for this price, private customers must participate in the MOVES Plan and finance a minimum of €18,000 for a duration of no less than 36 months. This special campaign is valid until the end of the month. Instead, the modality without MOVES but with financing has a rate of €26,690. The car benefits from a seven-year or 150,000 km warranty.
