Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake: The Seductive Electric Wagon Already Has Prices in Spain

The Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake, the wagon version of the new CLA, joins the brand’s lineup with a distinctive wagon format. Initially, the two electric variants have gone on sale, with power reaching 354 hp and an approved range of up to 766 km.

Following the launch of the new CLA sedan, the Shooting Brake wagon body arrives. Like the sedan, the two electric versions, 250+ and 350 4MATIC, are available first. The 250+ version delivers 272 hp using a single motor that drives the rear axle. Conversely, the 350 4MATIC reaches 354 hp by integrating two motors, one per axle, to provide all-wheel drive.

The Shooting Brake 250+ stands out for its impressive approved range of 766 km. This results from an 85 kWh battery and a low official consumption of 12.8 kWh per 100 km. Its performance is excellent, hitting 0 to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.

Dimensions and Expanded Capacity

The Shooting Brake maintains the same dimensions as the sedan, measuring just over 4.70 meters long. Nevertheless, the wheelbase grows to 2.79 meters, which benefits the habitability of the rear seats.

The greatest advantage of this wagon body is its load capacity. The trunk offers 455 liters, representing an increase over the 405 liters of the CLA sedan. In addition, the electric versions add nearly 100 extra liters in the front frunk, ideal for storing charging cables or a cabin suitcase.

Trims and Upcoming Versions

The CLA Shooting Brake range includes several special trims. One can opt for the AMG Line, the AMG Line Plus, or even the Edition 1. In the coming weeks, pricing is expected for the mild hybrid versions. These models will offer 136 and 190 hp and will feature the Eco label.
