KGM Tívoli 2026: The Korean SUV Challenges the Duster with Sandero Stepway Pricing

By  |

The 2026 Tívoli uses a 135 hp turbo gasoline engine, standing out for an extreme pricing policy that offers the financed rate from a “ridiculous” 16,400 euros.

The Korean brand KGM, formerly known as SsangYong, is enjoying a good moment in the market. In the urban crossover segment, the Tívoli faces a major challenge. Certainly, the Tívoli must compete against the Dacia Duster and new Chinese rivals such as the Omoda 5. Other traditional enemies, like the Renault Captur and the SEAT Arona, are also important.

Consequently, the Asian firm has introduced a pricing policy even more extreme than before. Both the cash and financed prices are even below the Duster’s own price. The Tívoli, in this way, seeks to grab attention with its value proposition.

Powertrain and Outstanding Load Capacity

The Tívoli utilizes a four-cylinder gasoline engine, suitably turbocharged, producing 135 hp. The car reaches 181 km/h, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. The engine is not electrified, so it cannot access the DGT Eco label.

The official average consumption is 7 liters per 100 km. In addition to this, the trunk far exceeds 400 liters, reaching specifically 427 liters. This trunk capacity makes it one of the best in the segment.

Standard Equipment and Safety Assistance

The Line trim includes a complete list of standard equipment. It features air conditioning, 16-inch steel wheels, and steering with variable assistance (Normal, Sport, and Comfort). It also integrates lighting and rain sensors, besides the height-adjustable multifunction steering wheel.

The safety package offers numerous driver aids. For example, it includes Hill Descent Control (HDC) and Active Rollover Protection (ARP). Furthermore, the car incorporates Automatic Emergency Braking (AEBS) and Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS). Driver Fatigue Alert (DAA) and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) complete the set.

Aggressive Pricing Policy

The tariffs for the KGM Tívoli G15T 135 CV Line start at 18,400 euros cash, including a direct discount of 3,000 euros. However, if the customer chooses to finance the purchase, the final amount is reduced to only 16,400 euros. Even better, the discount is extended by another thousand euros if the customer trades in another KGM or SsangYong.
