Lexus ES 2026: The New Luxury Electrified Sedan Now on Sale in Spain

The model debuts the “Clean Tech x Elegance” design language and is offered with two powertrain configurations: hybrid (Eco) and electric (Zero), with starting prices from 56,900 euros.

The Lexus ES 2026 is the eighth iteration of this sedan, measuring 5.14 meters in length. Its design stems from the 2023 LF-ZC prototype. The model debuts the “Clean Tech x Elegance” design language, while retaining characteristic brand features, such as the Katana Blade light signature.

The pointed front allows the distinction between the two variants: the hybrid version features a small opening to cool the gasoline engine. The wheels can be 21 inches, highlighting the three-dimensional, lightning-shaped line that runs across the two doors, called the Lexus Signature Line. The panoramic roof comes standard across the entire range.

Hybrid Powertrains and Electric Options

The Toyota group’s GA-K platform facilitates two powertrain configurations: hybrid and electric. The ES 300h is the hybrid option (Eco Label), which combines a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine with one or two electric motors. This version delivers a combined 201 hp, with an option for front-wheel or 4×4 drive.

The ES 350e is the entry-level electric model (Zero badge), developing 224 hp. It uses a 77 kWh battery taken from the RZ and has an approved range of 530 km. This version can charge at 22 kW in alternating current or 150 kW in direct current, achieving 10 to 80% charge in 30 minutes. The ES 500e will arrive later, featuring all-wheel drive, a combined 343 hp, and two motors.

Advanced Technology and Safety

The cabin offers a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14-inch central monitor. Beneath the monitor is the backlit Lexus Invisible Tech strip, which lights up when approaching the hand and manages climate control with intuitive touch controls. The Mark Levinson 3D surround sound system features up to 17 speakers.

Safety is covered by the Lexus Safety System+4, which includes the new adaptive cruise control. This system has a Stop & Go function, with the ability to stop the car when approaching roundabouts, Stop signs, or tolls. Automatic emergency braking with electric scooter detection is also featured.
