Jeep Avenger: the new compact SUV to be produced in Brazil from 2026
The Renegade’s younger sibling will be built in Porto Real and will arrive in Argentina to take on one of the market’s most competitive segments.
Stellantis has officially announced a major step in its South American industrial strategy: the Jeep Avenger will be manufactured in Brazil starting in 2026. Production will take place at the Porto Real plant in the state of Rio de Janeiro, consolidating this facility as one of the group’s key hubs in the region. This move will ensure supply for countries such as Argentina, Chile, and Colombia, further strengthening Jeep’s presence in Latin America’s leading markets.
A compact SUV with true Jeep DNA
The Avenger will arrive as the smallest and most affordable SUV in the Jeep lineup, yet it will fully retain the brand’s adventurous spirit and rugged design. With balanced proportions, a muscular front end, and a characterful silhouette, this model aims to win over both city drivers and light off-road enthusiasts. Inside, it will feature cutting-edge technology and premium equipment, designed to combine comfort, connectivity, and practicality in equal measure.

Production in Porto Real is part of Stellantis’ 3-billion-real investment plan for the 2025–2030 period. This ambitious program includes technological upgrades to the assembly line, increased production capacity, and a more integrated supplier network. As part of the initiative, five new industrial partners will join the Brazilian hub, two of which will establish physical operations within the complex by 2026.
With the Avenger’s arrival, Jeep will complete its regional production lineup alongside the established Renegade, Compass, and Commander. Local manufacturing will not only reduce logistical costs but also allow the brand to adapt the model to South American market demands, offering specific mechanical configurations and technologies. This strategy positions Jeep to remain a leader in an increasingly competitive segment, where design, efficiency, and connectivity define success.
