ICH-X Launches the 245 HP Bifuel K3: A Defender-Inspired SUV at Half the Price of the Toyota Land Cruiser
The Italian-Chinese brand ICH-X, part of the DR Automobiles group, is introducing a robust bifuel (gasoline/LPG) 4×4 to the market that stands out for its power and competitive price in the off-road segment.
ICH-X is a brand of Italian origin that assembles and markets vehicles sourced from China under the structure of the DR Automobiles group. The brand focuses on the SUV segment.
The K3, the star of this news, is inspired by the Defender. The K2 is another model that is somewhat reminiscent of the Jeep Wrangler. However, the K2 relies on a 162 hp diesel engine, combined with an automatic transmission and all-wheel drive with a reduction gear.
245 HP Bifuel Mechanics and Off-Road Attributes
The K3 opts for a gasoline/LPG bifuel engine in pursuit of the DGT’s Eco label. This engine delivers 245 hp (238 hp with gas). Moreover, its price is slightly more than half of what a Toyota Land Cruiser costs in Spain. The Japanese model starts at €87,950.

ICH-X developed the K3 based on the Chinese car Jetour Traveller, a product from the giant Chery. The K3 is paired with a seven-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Additionally, it features the Real time 4WD all-wheel drive system with different modes and the differential lock. For those seeking off-road driving, the ground clearance reaches 22 cm. The approach and departure angles are 20 and 30 degrees, respectively.
Dimensions and Key Equipment
The K3 is a model measuring 4.79 meters long. Its angular lines always remind us of the latest Defender.
Its equipment includes 19-inch alloy wheels. It also features leather upholstery and a multimedia system with a 15.6-inch central screen. Finally, the K3 includes a comprehensive catalog of driving aids.
