Honda Pilot 2026: All-Wheel Drive and 285 CV with Improved Handling and Luxury Cabin
The SUV, designed and manufactured in the United States, will arrive at North American dealerships next month. The new model will be offered in six trim levels, ranging from the Sport to the luxurious Black Edition.
The exterior design of the Honda Pilot 2026 is more ambitious. The vehicle features a redesigned front fascia that now includes a larger grille. Honda added two new colors to the palette: Solar Silver Metallic and Smoke Blue Pearl. The exclusive Diffused Green Metallic color will be available only for the Pilot TrailSport. Furthermore, roof rails are now standard across all trims, including the EX-L.
The Pilot’s cabin offers more standard technology. It also benefits from increased comfort and the incorporation of premium materials. Connectivity is wireless, with compatibility for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In fact, the system includes 5G Wi-Fi capability.
Technological Novelties and Interior Trims
The main technological novelties include larger screens. Specifically, it incorporates a 12.3-inch ultra-wide HD color touchscreen, which is 37% larger. Likewise, a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel is added, making it 43% larger.
For a more refined driving experience, the cabin is up to 3 dB quieter. This is due to the application of new sound-absorbing technologies and semi-tempered glass. Inside, the Pilot Touring level now includes a 360-degree surround-view camera and higher quality upholstery. The Elite and Black Edition trims elevate luxury with Ultra Suede seat details and diamond stitching.
The Pilot TrailSport adds more conveniences. This version now offers heated outboard rear seats. It also features a new brown leather interior with orange stitching. A practical detail is that the power tailgate is now standard on all models.

Safety and Power of the Pilot 2026
The interior comfort extends to safety. This is achieved with the addition of the post-collision braking system (PCB). Furthermore, it incorporates the Honda Sensing suite of driver-assistance technologies.
The Pilot 2026 maintains a 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine. This powerful engine generates 285 CV and 36.2 kgm of torque. It is combined with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The Honda i-VTM4 all-wheel drive system is available on all versions. This system is standard on the upper trims. Although prices are yet to be confirmed, the range is expected to have a starting value above $40,000 in the United States.
