Ford expanded the value proposition of the new Ranger in Argentina. Now the 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel engine equips the XLT version. This engine is manufactured at the new Pacheco engine plant. The V6 engine generates 250 HP of power. Furthermore, it produces 61.1 kgm of torque. This engine combines with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The new Ranger XLT V6 positions itself one step above the XLS variant. It shares the high-performance powertrain with other versions. This powertrain includes the 3.0L V6 engine and the 10-speed automatic gearbox. It also integrates the intelligent 4WD traction system. The XLT V6 distinguishes itself by adding various technologies. These driving assistance features come from the Ford Co-Pilot 360 package.

Safety and Semi-Autonomous Assistance

The Ford Co-Pilot 360 package provides several safety functions. This includes the lane-keeping system. It also incorporates the pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection.
