The auction house Bonhams|Cars is putting a collection of 50 original movie and TV vehicles up for sale, with no reserve price, highlighting the iconic Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII from ‘Fast & Furious’ and the famous Peugeot 406 from ‘Taxi 2’.

Collectors and pop culture enthusiasts have an unmissable event this November. From November 21 to 28, 2025, Bonhams|Cars will hold a unique online auction, making 50 original vehicles from film and television available to the highest bidder, along with 19 memorabilia items. The most appealing feature is that all lots will start without a reserve price. The pieces come from the Central Movie Car Museum, near Paris, managed by Franck Galiègue.

Four-Wheeled Stars: From Toretto to John Wick

This collection offers a broad look at the history of automotive cinema. It includes true legends from cult productions such as ‘Fast & Furious’, ‘Taxi’, ‘Jurassic Park’, ‘Men in Black’, ‘Back to the Future’, and ‘Ghostbusters’. Additionally, detailed replicas of the mythical ‘The A-Team’ van, ‘Herbie’, and vehicles from the James Bond saga are being auctioned. Loïc Maschi, a Bonhams specialist, states that these vehicles are “authentic witnesses to film and automotive history”.

Among the most prominent lots, several vehicles from the Fast & Furious series take the highest estimates. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII (2001) from ‘2 Fast 2 Furious’ stands out , valued between 250,000 and 500,000 euros. Also featured is the Dodge Charger “Off-Road” (1970) from ‘Fast & Furious 7’, with an estimated value of 150,000 to 250,000 euros. The auction will include iconic pieces such as the legendary Dodge Charger ‘General Lee’ (1968) from ‘The Dukes of Hazzard’ and the Ford Mustang Mach 1 (1969) from ‘John Wick’.

The French Icon and Collectibles

French cinema also has its crowning jewel with the original Peugeot 406 V6 (1999) from ‘Taxi 2’ , considered one of France’s most famous cinematographic icons. This model is offered with an estimated value of 70,000 to 120,000 euros. Other memorable vehicles in the auction include the Gene Winfield Police Cruiser from ‘Back to the Future II’ and the Ford LTD Crown Victoria (1987) from ‘Men in Black’.

Franck Galiègue explained that this auction marks the end of a personal project, as it is time to pass these cars to new owners after years of collecting them. Besides the cars, items like a life-size T-Rex from Jurassic Park and the “Pitbull” hoverboard from ‘Back to the Future II’ will be auctioned. The entire collection will be on public display from November 21 to 28, 2025, although viewing requires an appointment.
