2026 Chevrolet Corvette Brings Back Carbon Fiber Grille Inserts with Fresh Tech Upgrades

By  |

Chevrolet has reintroduced one of the most demanded accessories for the 2026 Corvette, while also refreshing the lineup with new tech and design improvements.

After being absent from the 2024 and 2025 model years, the visible carbon fiber grille inserts are officially back for the 2026 Corvette Stingray 3LT. Priced at $2,695, this option enhances the front air intakes with a sleek and aggressive look, aligning the Stingray’s design closer to high-performance models like the Corvette Z06 and ZR1. The package includes two carbon fiber pieces and all installation materials, available for both coupe and convertible body styles.

Expanded Carbon Fiber Accessories

This grille option isn’t alone. Owners can also combine it with other Genuine Chevrolet Carbon Fiber Accessories, such as the Intake Scoop Trim Kit ($3,395), Ground Effects Kit ($7,895), or the Roof Bow ($2,995). While Chevrolet’s official pricing holds, some third-party retailers have been spotted offering discounts of up to $650, making it worth exploring before purchase.

Major Interior Redesign

The 2026 Corvette lineup also introduces a fully redesigned cockpit. The cabin now features a three-screen setup: a 12.7-inch central display, a 14-inch driver information cluster, and a 6.6-inch auxiliary screen beside the steering wheel. Alongside these digital upgrades, the center console has been reworked with improved drive-mode selectors, a wireless charging pad, and repositioned climate controls for better ergonomics.

Performance Remains a Core Strength

As always, the Corvette Stingray continues to deliver thrilling performance. Powered by a 6.2-liter V8 producing 490 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque – or up to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft with the performance exhaust – it sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds when paired with the Z51 Package. Top speed remains an impressive 194 mph, with power managed by an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
