The New Lexus NX 2026 in Spain: Less Power, Key Tags Maintained, and Official Pricing

The Lexus NX has updated its engine lineup for the 2026 Model Year, adjusting the power of its hybrid versions due to the new emissions regulations.

The Lexus NX, an SUV 4.66 meters long , directly competes with rivals such as the Audi Q5, BMW X3, and Mercedes-Benz GLC. It also targets non-traditional premium alternatives like the Mazda CX-60 and Renault Rafale. The mechanical lineup for the 2026 Model Year, equipped with the e-CVT automatic transmission, undergoes a power adjustment. This modification stems from the strict Euro 6e-bis emissions regulation.

Performance and Tag of the NX 350h Hybrid

The conventional hybrid, now called NX 350h, produces 197 HP. This contrasts with the 244 HP of its predecessor version. This model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.8 seconds (or 8.1 seconds with AWD traction) and reaches a maximum speed of 190 km/h. Furthermore, it homologates a consumption between 5.7 and 5.9 liters per 100 km. It clearly benefits from the Eco sticker.

The NX 450h+ Plug-in: Efficiency and Range

The plug-in hybrid version, the NX 450h+, now offers 292 HP, slightly lower than the previous 309 HP. It keeps the 4×4 traction and enjoys all the advantages of the Zero-Emission sticker. It completes the 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and limits its top speed to 200 km/h. Thanks to an 18.1 kWh battery, it homologates a consumption of just 2.9 liters per 100 km in the WLTP combined cycle. This battery guarantees 72 km of electric range, a figure that extends to 93 km in urban driving.

Highlighted Equipment and Safety Across the Range

There are four trim levels for the Lexus NX: Premium+, Executive+, the sporty F SPORT, and the luxurious Luxury finish. The Premium+ level already includes very comprehensive standard equipment. It incorporates eight airbags, hands-free access, anti-theft alarm, heated seats, voice assistant, and dual-zone climate control. The infotainment system features navigation on a 14-inch screen and an audio system with 10 speakers. We also find ambient lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, an automatic tailgate, electrically folding mirrors, and synthetic leather upholstery.
