INTELLIGENT MOBILITY
The 2026 Porsche Cayenne: The Most Powerful in History with 1,156 HP and an 800V Platform
The new electric Porsche Cayenne represents the fourth generation of the model, coexisting with its combustion-engine “brother,” and breaking power records for the brand.
Designers have conceived a more pointed “beak” effect for the front end of this new Cayenne generation. The side light clusters integrate all illumination functions using matrix technology. On the side profile, there are few creases but contrasting elements in glossy black (Turbo) or matte finish (Cayenne) with 3D treatment.
Specific only to the Turbo are some aesthetic elements treated with an anthracite paint called Turbonite. The rear features a light strip spanning the width of the vehicle. Both variants feature a mobile spoiler and active front flaps to improve cooling or aerodynamic efficiency. The Turbo comes equipped with side appendages that deploy at high speed to make it more efficient. The aerodynamic drag coefficient (Cx) is 0.25. The 2026 Cayenne is slightly larger compared to the previous model, with 5.5 cm more length and 13 cm more wheelbase.
Luxury Cockpit and High Technology
The rear trunk starts at 781 liters, supplemented by a front cargo compartment of 90 liters. All doors feature frameless windows and laminated double glazing to improve acoustic insulation. The panoramic glass roof can be darkened or lightened by segments using an electronic system.
The digital instrumentation is displayed on a 14.25-inch curved screen. A Head-up Display has also been developed that projects information 10 meters away at a considerable size of 87 inches. Optionally, there is a 14.9-inch screen for the passenger. In the center of the dashboard, there is a “folded” monitor, similar to those introduced in the smartphone market. Above the central console is a pad called Ferry Pad to support the wrist and facilitate interaction with the infotainment touchscreen.
Powertrains, Performance, and Battery
The base electric Cayenne has an output of 408 hp (300 kW), which rises to 442 hp with Launch Control, and delivers 835 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 230 km/h.

The Turbo version starts at 857 hp (630 kW) and, with a button, increases by 176 hp to 1,033 hp. Launch Control mode pushes the maximum power to 1,156 hp (850 kW), with 1,500 Nm of torque. This translates to a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 260 km/h. The Turbo’s rear motor was developed by Porsche together with ZF, featuring competition-derived solutions like direct oil cooling.
The new battery has a capacity of 113 kWh gross and 108 net. According to the WLTP homologation cycle, the Cayenne achieves 642 km of range, while the Turbo reaches 623 km. Thanks to its 800-volt architecture, the maximum charging power in DC is 400 kW.
Dynamics and Prices in Spain
The regeneration system leverages Formula E experience to recover up to 600 kW (816 hp). The Cayenne Turbo’s brakes can be carboceramic (PCCB) upon request. Adaptive air suspension (PASM) is integrated as standard. Both Cayenne versions can optionally be equipped with rear-axle steering. For the first time on the Cayenne, the Porsche Active Ride system is also available, capable of almost completely reducing body movements. In Spain, the electric Cayenne has a starting price of €108,296. The Cayenne Turbo version rises to €169,124.
