Subaru BRZ and WRX 2026 Get Bold New Series.Yellow Editions

Subaru is bringing fresh energy to its performance lineup with the launch of two limited-run Series.Yellow editions for 2026. Both the BRZ and WRX will receive this special trim, each available in strictly manual form and capped at just 350 units worldwide.

The Series.Yellow package takes inspiration from past Subaru exclusives like the Crosstrek Special Edition (2015) and the Japan-only WRX STI S207. Finished in a vibrant Sunrise Yellow paint, these cars stand out as a modern nod to Subaru’s performance heritage. The WRX features Recaro sport seats with contrasting yellow stitching and perforated accents, while the BRZ gets black upholstery with yellow stitching across the seats, steering wheel, shift knob, and handbrake.

Under the skin, both cars mirror their tS performance counterparts. The BRZ pairs its six-speed manual transmission with a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter flat-four producing 228 horsepower, while the WRX matches a six-speed manual with its turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-four, delivering 271 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. True to Subaru’s philosophy, the Series.Yellow models keep things analog, catering to purists who value engagement over convenience.

Subaru confirmed that pricing for the BRZ lineup starts at $37,055 for the base manual model and $40,555 for the Series.Yellow edition. The WRX pricing will be revealed closer to launch, but production will be equally tight, ensuring exclusivity for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Limited to only 350 examples each, these cars are destined to become instant cult classics.

The official debut is set for September 14 at Subaru’s Boxerfest in York, Pennsylvania.
