Skoda celebrates 130 years as its “0” electric and hybrid lineup continues to grow

By  |

The Czech brand strengthens its commitment to electrification with PHEV and fully electric models that combine range, power, and sporty design.

From 1895, when Václav Laurin and Václav Klement built their first bicycle, to becoming the third best-selling brand in Europe today, Skoda has crafted a story of innovation and automotive passion. Integrated into the Volkswagen Group since 1991, the brand now offers its widest lineup ever, including vehicles with DGT “0” emissions labels, meaning fully electric or plug-in hybrid models at the cutting edge of technology.

Plug-in hybrids with over 100 km of electric range

Skoda’s PHEVs, such as the Superb iV and Kodiaq iV, feature the latest technology, including the 1.5 TSI gasoline engine, batteries of up to 19.7 kWh, and electric ranges exceeding 100 km under the WLTP cycle. They also allow fast charging up to 50 kW DC and AC charging up to 11 kW, combining convenience and efficiency for everyday driving. Both models come with a six-speed DSG automatic transmission, and the Superb iV Combi adds practicality with a boot capacity of up to 690 liters. Prices start at €52,900 (€42,900 with discount) for the Superb iV and €51,800 (€38,800 with promotion) for the Kodiaq iV, with both eligible for Plan MOVES incentives.

The 100% electric offensive

The fully electric lineup currently includes the Elroq, Enyaq, and Enyaq Coupé, with sporty RS versions designed to deliver driving excitement. The Elroq RS, a compact SUV with dual motors and all-wheel drive, produces 340 hp, reaches a top speed of 180 km/h (limited), and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds, offering a range of up to 549 km. The Enyaq RS, available as a five-door SUV or a coupé, maintains 340 hp and 560 km of range, with prices starting at €54,380 (€45,250 with discount).

Skoda has also announced the new Epiq, a fully electric urban SUV arriving in 2026, which will be the first Skoda manufactured in Spain, at the Landaben plant – reinforcing the brand’s commitment to sustainable mobility and regional electrification.

With 130 years of history, Skoda proves it can combine tradition, technology, and driving excitement, offering electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles that not only reduce emissions but also provide performance, autonomy, and sporty design for drivers of all kinds.
