Peugeot 308 2025: the interior that redefines the European compact segment

By  |

More technology, improved materials, and a premium driving experience — this is the refreshed interior of the 2025 Peugeot 308, one of the most compelling compact cars on the market.

The French hatchback gets a major interior upgrade

The 2025 Peugeot 308 isn’t just about a light exterior facelift — the real evolution happens inside. Now available in Spain from €31,469, the model is offered both as a mild-hybrid hatchback and a practical SW estate, focusing its update on material quality, onboard technology, and enhanced ergonomics. It’s a clear move toward a more premium feel, without sacrificing the practical spirit that defines this French compact.

i-Cockpit tech, now sharper and more intuitive than ever

Peugeot’s signature i-Cockpit layout remains a highlight, featuring a compact steering wheel and a 10-inch elevated digital instrument cluster. In the GT Exclusive trim, the display gains 3D graphics for added visual impact. The 10-inch central touchscreen is paired with customizable i-Toggles, allowing direct access to favourite functions. Two infotainment systems are available depending on the trim: i-Connect on the Style and Allure versions, and i-Connect Advanced on higher trims, which adds TomTom navigation, OTA updates, connected services, and even ChatGPT integration.

Premium materials and tailored interior ambience

In this facelift, materials and finishes take centre stage. The GT version comes with aluminium inserts, while the GT Exclusive upgrades to Alcantara upholstery, giving the cabin a much more refined and upscale feel. The ambient lighting with 8 selectable colours lets drivers personalise the atmosphere inside the car. These thoughtful details elevate the 308 beyond the typical mainstream compact, bringing it closer to the premium category in both look and feel.

Practical space and smart boot design

Rear seat space is adequate, with room for two adults and a third occupant on short journeys. Where the 308 truly shines is in its boot versatility: the rear seats fold in a 40/20/40 configuration, with controls located directly in the boot area. The SW estate version offers 598 to 1,487 litres of cargo space, while hybrid models benefit from a two-level adjustable floor. The hatchback also delivers solid figures: 412 litres expandable to 1,323. An optional electric tailgate adds further convenience for everyday use.
