The new Peugeot 2008 2026 Hybrid has arrived, and it comes with a clear mission: deliver greater efficiency, an ECO label, and a more competitive price. Built in Spain, this model now features a mild-hybrid powertrain designed to reach a broader audience and compete head-to-head with rivals such as the Dacia Duster, Hyundai KONA 2026, Kia Niro, and Toyota C-HR. The result is a well-balanced, practical SUV tailored to modern drivers’ needs.

Under the bonnet, the new 2008 features a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine with 100 hp and 205 Nm of torque, paired with a 21 kW (28 hp) electric motor, delivering a combined output of 110 hp. Its ë-DCS6 dual-clutch automatic gearbox enables it to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.4 seconds, reach 182 km/h, and–most impressively–achieve a fuel consumption figure of just 4.9 L/100 km, making it one of the most efficient B-segment SUVs on the market.

Compared to the Peugeot 2008 Hybrid 145 hp, this new version is less powerful but significantly more affordable. While the 145 hp variant accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds and tops out at 206 km/h, the 110 hp model offers more than enough performance for everyday use, with identical fuel efficiency and a €1,000 lower price tag. It’s a smart move from Peugeot to strengthen its position against fierce competition.

When it comes to equipment, the new 2008 2026 Hybrid doesn’t hold back on technology or safety. The Style trim level includes a 10-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control, parking sensors, Eco LED headlights, and a full suite of driver-assistance systems such as autonomous emergency braking, collision alert, and driver fatigue detection. The Allure trim takes things up a notch with added comfort and design features.

Finally, let’s talk about prices. The Peugeot 2008 Hybrid Style 110 hp starts at €29,810 (€22,810 with cash discounts), while the Allure 110 hp version is priced at €31,310 (€24,310 with offers). A Spanish-built SUV, equipped with hybrid technology, carrying the ECO label, and now more affordable than ever, ready to remain one of the strongest contenders in Europe’s highly competitive SUV market.
