Volkswagen Driving Experience 2025: The Perfect Blend of Adrenaline, Safety, and Learning at the Jarama Circuit
Over 500 drivers took part in a new edition of the Volkswagen Driving Experience, an unmissable event for motoring enthusiasts that combines excitement, cutting-edge technology, and road safety education.

A unique experience to learn, enjoy, and improve behind the wheel
The Volkswagen Driving Experience once again proved why it’s one of Spain’s most respected driving programs. In this new edition, held at the Jarama Circuit, more than 500 participants enjoyed a day where fun and safety went hand in hand. Since its creation 22 years ago, over 44,000 drivers have taken part in this school’s courses, which aim to educate and raise awareness to prevent accidents while delivering an unforgettable experience behind the wheel.
Throughout the event, attendees were guided by professional instructors and the legendary Luis Moya, two-time World Rally Champion and Volkswagen brand ambassador. Together, they taught techniques to help drivers reach their full potential, including braking control, obstacle avoidance, and cornering precision–all within a safe and dynamic environment.
One of the main highlights was the opportunity to test some of Volkswagen’s most powerful and advanced models, both with traditional combustion engines and electric powertrains: Golf R, Golf GTI, Golf Clubsport, Polo GTI, along with the electrified ID.3 GTX, ID.4 GTX, and ID.5 GTX. The three driving schools –R, GTI, and ID.– represent three distinct ways of enjoying Volkswagen’s DNA: track performance, iconic sportiness, and sustainable mobility.
In addition to circuit driving, participants took part in timed braking and avoidance challenges, competing against both themselves and their peers to improve with every run. This approach turns training into a thrilling competition, reinforcing confidence and skill in a controlled and safe environment.
Beyond this event at Jarama, Volkswagen continues to expand its training programs with exclusive experiences such as the R Experience Ice in Sweden and the 4Motion School in Andorra. “Our goal is to create experiences and stay close to our customers,” explains Albert Casamitjana, Marketing Director at Volkswagen Spain. “That same philosophy inspired the creation of the Volkswagen Club, a space where customers can access personalized events and content that strengthen their connection with the brand.”
