Published

on

Lucid Motors continues to prove that range remains one of its greatest strengths. The all-new Lucid Gravity Grand Touring delivered an impressive performance during the NAF Summer El Prix 2026, achieving the longest driving range among all seven-seat SUVs participating in the event.

The luxury electric SUV traveled 720 kilometers (447 miles) on a single charge, making it the highest-performing three-row SUV in the competition and the second-best overall vehicle in this year’s test.

The result reinforces Lucid’s growing reputation as one of the leaders in electric vehicle efficiency and long-distance capability.

The Lucid Gravity Grand Touring achieved the longest range among seven-seat SUVs during the NAF Summer El Prix 2026.

A Strong Showing In The World’s Largest EV Test

The NAF El Prix is widely regarded as one of the most demanding real-world evaluations for electric vehicles.

Organized by the Norwegian Automobile Federation and Motor magazine, the event measures both range and charging performance under real driving conditions. Participants travel through city streets, highways, mountain roads and secondary routes without stopping to recharge.

This year’s route began in Oslo and crossed multiple terrain types before vehicles were pushed to their limits.

Out of 24 vehicles entered in the competition, the Lucid Gravity Grand Touring delivered one of the strongest performances of the entire field.

Range And Efficiency Set The Gravity Apart

The Gravity Grand Touring combines Lucid’s proprietary electric powertrain technology with an efficient aerodynamic design and advanced battery systems.

The SUV offers an official WLTP range of up to 748 kilometers and is powered by a 123-kWh battery pack paired with a 926-volt electrical architecture.

These technologies allowed the vehicle to travel 720 kilometers during the test while maintaining impressive efficiency.

Lucid says the platform was designed to deliver long-distance capability without compromising luxury, comfort or performance.

The Gravity combines long-range capability, fast charging and three-row practicality in a premium electric SUV package.

Supercar Performance In A Family SUV

Despite its focus on efficiency, the Gravity Grand Touring remains one of the most powerful electric SUVs on the market.

The vehicle produces 839 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.

Fast charging is another highlight. Thanks to its advanced electrical architecture, the Gravity can add up to 400 kilometers of driving range in approximately 14 minutes under ideal conditions.

The SUV also accommodates up to seven passengers while offering nearly 3,400 liters of cargo space with the rear seats folded.

These capabilities recently helped the Gravity earn the prestigious World Luxury Car of the Year 2026 award.

Another Victory For Lucid’s Range Leadership

This latest achievement follows another strong result earlier this year.

During the Winter El Prix 2026, the Lucid Air Grand Touring delivered the longest driving range of the event despite extremely cold weather conditions, including temperatures as low as minus 31 degrees Celsius.

In the 2025 Summer El Prix, the Lucid Air also established an all-time event record by traveling 828 kilometers on a single charge.

The latest performance from the Gravity demonstrates that Lucid’s efficiency-focused engineering philosophy extends beyond sedans and into the growing premium SUV segment.

The Lucid Gravity offers seating for up to seven passengers while maintaining the efficiency and technology that define the brand.

A Serious Challenger In The Premium Electric SUV Segment

As deliveries continue to expand globally, the Lucid Gravity is positioning itself as one of the most capable luxury electric SUVs available.

Its combination of long range, ultra-fast charging, supercar-like performance and three-row practicality gives it a unique place in the market.

For buyers seeking an electric SUV capable of handling long journeys without frequent charging stops, the latest NAF Summer El Prix results provide further evidence that the Lucid Gravity is among the most impressive EVs currently on sale.
