Leapmotor A10 Debuts: The New Electric SUV with LiDAR Technology that Threatens the B Segment
The Leapmotor A10, a new Chinese urban SUV, has revealed its first official photos and is preparing to challenge key rivals in the global market.
The first official photos of the Leapmotor A10 are now visible. The Chinese urban SUV will debut tomorrow, November 21. It will face two important rivals upon market arrival. These are the Kia EV3 and the Citroën ë-C3 Aircross. The A10 seeks to gain space in the competitive global B segment.
The model relies on a balanced formula. It combines family design and adequate performance. The most important element is a highly competitive price. The A10 brings significant aesthetic novelties. It does not break, however, with the design language established by the brand. The front part is clean, featuring a closed grille.
Innovation in Technology and Dimensions
A notable detail is the presence of a LiDAR sensor on the roof. This element indicates advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The door handles are integrated into the body to improve aerodynamics. The wheel arches use gray plastic moldings for an adventurous touch. Furthermore, the rectangular rear lights follow market trends. The cameras for avoiding the blind spot are in the front fenders. This resource is still unusual in the B segment.

The exact dimensions of the A10 are not yet disclosed. Chinese sources indicate it will be similar to the BYD Atto 2. Therefore, it could measure around 4.31 meters in length. This positions it between the urban T03 and the compact B05. The A10 is expected to share the Leap 3.0 platform. Its bigger siblings, like the B10, use this platform. The B10 is already available in Spain starting at 19,990 euros.
Leapmotor reserves the technical specifications for the official debut. However, speculation suggests an engine of 170 kW (231 HP) or less. The B10 already has a 218 HP engine, a logical engine for the A10. There is also talk of a maximum range of 530 km. This figure is based on the Chinese homologation cycle, which is optimistic. The initial palette includes a green color and a brown color. All final details will be revealed at the Guangzhou Show.
