Lamborghini Stuns the Industry with a Warranty Longer Than Kia’s: Total Protection for Up to 10 Years
The Italian brand breaks new ground with a warranty program that covers its supercars for an entire decade — surpassing even mainstream manufacturers like Kia.

In a move few could have anticipated, Lamborghini has unveiled a new extended warranty program that covers its vehicles for up to ten years, significantly outlasting Kia’s famous seven-year or 150,000 km coverage. With this initiative, the Sant’Agata Bolognese brand aims not only to give its customers peace of mind but also to preserve the long-term value of its exclusive cars on the pre-owned market.
A Step Further Toward Service Excellence
The new policy starts with a five-year standard warranty for the brand’s latest models — the Temerario, Revuelto, and Urus SE — along with eight years of coverage for high-voltage hybrid batteries. But the true game changer is the Selezione program, which allows owners to extend their coverage to a full decade with no mileage limit, a benefit no other European luxury brand currently offers.
Giuliano Cassataro, Lamborghini’s Head of After Sales, emphasized that this program aims to “safeguard and even increase the value” of each car, ensuring comprehensive support throughout the vehicle’s entire life cycle. It’s a brilliant strategy that protects both the customer and the brand’s prestige — especially when compared to rivals like Ferrari, which offers programs covering vehicles for up to 15 years.
An Example Europe Should Follow
It’s interesting to note that warranty coverage varies greatly by market. In the United States, protections are far more generous: Kia and Hyundai both provide 10 years of mechanical coverage, while Ram guarantees its 1500 pickup for 10 years or 100,000 miles (161,000 km). Even Chevrolet and Toyota have expanded their warranties to win over long-term customers. In Europe, however, most brands still offer more limited protection — something Lamborghini clearly intends to change.
More Than a Warranty: A Statement of Intent
With this bold move, Lamborghini proves that exclusivity and reliability can go hand in hand. The Italian marque understands that its clientele demands more than just performance and design — they want security, trust, and support. At a time when the industry is shifting toward electrification and vehicle longevity, offering a 10-year warranty is not just a marketing move, but a declaration of leadership and commitment to excellence. In a move few could have anticipated, Lamborghini has unveiled a new extended warranty program that covers its vehicles for up to ten years, significantly outlasting Kia’s famous seven-year or 150,000 km coverage.
