Jeep Recon 2026: The First Trail Rated Electric SUV Arrives with 650 HP and 3.6-Second Acceleration

By  |

Jeep redefines off-road adventure with the presentation of the Recon 2026. This model is the industry’s first and only fully electric SUV classified as Trail Rated , a milestone that merges the brand’s iconic 4×4 capability with a high-performance electrified powertrain.

Jeep built the Recon on a specific electric architecture for this purpose. The vehicle combines powerful performance with the brand’s authentic 4xe capability. Four-wheel drive is offered as standard.

Furthermore, the Recon complements its traction with Jeep’s exclusive Selec-Terrain system. Therefore, the system provides multiple driving modes. These modes adapt to various conditions and terrains.

Supercar Performance in Off-Roading

The Jeep Recon’s performance places it on par with high-end sports cars. However, it maintains its unwavering focus on off-roading. The model boasts 650 HP of power. Similarly, it delivers 85.6 kgm of torque.

In fact, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds. The electrified system provides very precise control from the first touch of the accelerator. Consequently, the driving experience is quieter. The model promises an electric range of up to 400 km, depending on the version.
