GlasWerks DMV Elevato: The Italian Luxury V12 Off-Roader That Turns Heads
SEMA Show welcomes an unexpected entrant: a modified Ferrari claiming to be the world’s first luxury Italian V12 off-roader.
The GlasWerks DMV Elevato is essentially a Ferrari GTC4 Lusso with a wide-body makeover and a radical transformation to tackle challenging terrain. The GlasWerks DMV team stripped and rebuilt the car with rally-grade components, including billet aluminum suspension control arms, reinforced CV joints, and twice the ground clearance of the original model. These modifications allow for eight inches of full wheel travel and include an onboard air system to adjust tire pressure on the fly.
Extreme power and performance
Under the hood sits a 6.3-liter V12 tuned to approximately 750 hp, sending power to all four wheels through Ferrari’s stock gearbox. The company states that the vehicle can handle endurance-style abuse, effectively transforming it into a Dakar-inspired supercar capable of facing extreme conditions.
Premium customization options
The Elevato allows customers to specify spring rates, unique exhaust modifications, rally lighting, roof racks, and full STEK paint protection. Every unit balances luxury and off-road capability. However, GlasWerks DMV markets it as the “world’s first luxury Italian V12 off-roader,” a claim that raises eyebrows given the Lamborghini LM002 from the 1980s.

A history of innovation
The LM002 featured seating for four, much higher ground clearance, and a Countach V12, setting a precedent for super-luxury off-road vehicles that GlasWerks DMV seems to overlook. Nevertheless, the Elevato offers a modern, radical interpretation of a Dakar-style Ferrari, blending Italian exclusivity with extreme performance.
Pricing and final thoughts
The starting price is around $175,000, not including the donor car. Despite GlasWerks DMV’s ambitious marketing, the result is an astonishing Ferrari Dakar-style creation, appealing to both supercar enthusiasts and those seeking an extreme, stylish Italian off-roader.
