The Eura Mobil Xtura Escape isn’t a standard production motorhome but a collaborative project between Kreavans and Rühl Automotive, created to showcase how far engineering can go when paired with high-level craftsmanship. Based on the Xtura 686 EF, it uses the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as its foundation, featuring a six-cylinder diesel engine with 190 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and the Overland package. Measuring 6.88 meters in length, it delivers a unique experience for enthusiasts who seek both adventure and comfort.

More than a camper—it’s a masterpiece on wheels

Even in its factory configuration, the Xtura impresses with its fiberglass-reinforced plastic structure, 330 Ah lithium battery, and two 135 W solar panels, ideal for autonomous travel. Priced at €162,900 in Germany, it’s clearly positioned as a premium product for demanding travelers. Yet Kreavans and Rühl Automotive took things further, investing roughly €75,000 in upgrades to create the Xtura Escape—a version that’s technically enhanced, visually distinctive, and unmistakably refined without turning into a rugged expedition truck.

Rugged design, adventurous spirit, and absolute comfort

The Escape’s exterior stands out with its unpainted bumper, customized grille, and roof-mounted light bar. A perfectly integrated snorkel and bright yellow skid plate underline its off-road character. Meanwhile, 16-inch steel wheels with dedicated all-terrain tires ensure excellent grip, and a reinforced rear axle boosts the total weight capacity to 4.45 tons. At the back, perforated panels can hold tools, fuel cans, or a spare wheel, while the rear garage includes a full rescue and recovery kit for those who take adventure seriously.

An interior that rivals a boutique hotel

Inside, Rühl Automotive has created a handcrafted environment that feels luxurious yet welcoming. Seats, steering wheel, dashboard, and cabinet doors are wrapped in hazelnut-colored leather with contrast stitching, delivering a warm and elegant atmosphere. Technically, it maintains the all-wheel drive system, solar setup, diesel heating, and touchscreen control panel for managing lighting and temperature. Altogether, the Eura Mobil Xtura Escape proves that sophistication and adventure are not opposites—they’re two sides of the same extraordinary journey on wheels.
