Dacia Updates Sandero, Stepway and Jogger 2025: New Design, Hybrid Engines and Smarter Tech for Everyone
Dacia’s best-selling trio gets a bold redesign, upgraded hybrid powertrains and smarter onboard technology, strengthening its leadership in Europe and Spain.
The new 2025 Dacia range has arrived, bringing a major update to the Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Jogger — three models that continue to drive the brand’s unstoppable success within the Renault Group. The Sandero remains Europe’s best-selling private car since 2017 and Spain’s top seller since 2013, surpassing 300,000 annual units for the first time in 2024. Meanwhile, the Jogger keeps climbing, becoming Europe’s second best-selling C-segment vehicle (excluding SUVs), with 96,440 units sold last year — a 2.4% increase.
New Look Inside and Out: A Modern and More Sustainable Identity
The latest Dacia Sandero, Stepway and Jogger adopt a fresh LED lighting signature in an inverted “T” shape, along with a redesigned grille featuring pixel-inspired details and 3D-effect rear lights that give them a stronger road presence. Another key innovation is the Starkle material, developed by Dacia engineers with 20% recycled plastic, now used on lower body panels and wheel arch guards to improve durability and reduce environmental impact. The lineup also debuts new wheels, trims and body colours — including Amber Yellow metallic and Sandstone — plus a shark-fin antenna available from the Expression trim upwards.
Inside, the cabins are noticeably more refined. Highlights include “T”-shaped air vents, upgraded upholstery and materials depending on the version — such as denim-style blue fabric in the Journey and washable microcloud in the Extreme — and a more ergonomic steering wheel. The Hybrid 155 and Eco-G 120 versions introduce the E-Shifter selector, while the automatic Eco-G 120 adds steering wheel-mounted paddles for a sportier drive.

New Hybrid and LPG Engines with Automatic Transmission
Under the hood, Dacia takes a major leap forward. The new Hybrid 155, first seen in the Bigster, replaces the previous Hybrid 140 in the Jogger. It combines a 1.8-litre petrol engine with 109 hp and two electric motors, delivering 155 hp with improved efficiency. Meanwhile, the new Eco-G 120 becomes Dacia’s first LPG engine with an automatic gearbox, powered by a 1.2 turbo 120 hp engine paired with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch (DCT) transmission. The Sandero TCe 100 also gains power — now 100 hp — maintaining its six-speed manual gearbox for a more dynamic drive.
Enhanced Safety and Driving Assistance Systems
Safety sees a significant boost across the range. The Driving Pack (available on Journey and Extreme trims) includes automatic high beams, a 360° Multiview camera, electrically folding mirrors, and the customizable “My Safety” button, allowing drivers to tailor assistance settings. Every model now features automatic emergency braking with pedestrian, cyclist and motorcyclist detection, plus driver attention monitoring, ensuring compliance with the latest European safety standards.
With this comprehensive update, Dacia reaffirms its “value-first” philosophy, offering more technology, efficiency and comfort without losing its trademark simplicity and practicality. The Sandero, Stepway and Jogger 2025 are set to remain at the top of Europe’s best-seller charts — now sharper, smarter and more sustainable than ever.
