Argentina’s Cheapest Car in 2025: Costs Less Than $27 Million, Packed with Comfort and Extremely Low Fuel Usage

Renault Kwid remains the market leader
The Argentine automotive market closed the year with major adjustments to new-car prices, generating significant movement in the ranking of the most affordable models. In this context, the Renault Kwid, imported from Brazil, stands firm as the cheapest car in Argentina, with an updated price of $26,510,000. Despite a 3.5% increase compared with November, it remains the most logical option for buyers seeking a budget-friendly, modern car with one of the lowest fuel consumption levels in its segment.
A city car designed to consume little and offer a lot
The Kwid succeeds thanks to a formula that rarely fails: simple mechanics, low maintenance costs, and a lightweight structure that boosts efficiency. Its 1.0 SCe three-cylinder engine with 66 hp and 93 Nm, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, delivers more than enough performance for daily urban use. Its fuel consumption is among the lowest in the market–an essential advantage in a context where every litre counts. It also offers features rarely seen at this price point, such as electric steering, standard ESP, and four airbags.
Impressive equipment for its price tag

Even as an economy car, the Kwid does not skimp on technology. Its key features include an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a reversing camera, parking sensors, ISOFIX anchor points, remote opening, and a 290-litre boot, one of the largest among city cars. The front suspension uses a McPherson setup, while the rear employs a trailing-arm rigid axle designed with durability in mind. Added to that is a total weight of around 760 kg, ideal for navigating urban traffic with ease.
This is the current landscape for Argentina’s most affordable 0 km
In a market where price adjustments have been constant, the Renault Kwid strengthens its position as the most sensible option for first-time buyers or as a second vehicle for daily use. Thanks to its combination of low consumption, modern equipment, and a final price under $27 million, it becomes a proposal that is extremely difficult for competitors to match. All signs indicate that it will continue leading the ranking in the coming months.
