Vanderhall Brawley GTS: The 404-HP Electric Side-by-Side Taking on the Off-Road Giants
A new challenger arrives in the off-road world: the Vanderhall Brawley GTS combines radical design, four electric motors, and a price tag that puts it head-to-head with icons like the Ford Bronco.
The Vanderhall Brawley GTS breaks away from the brand’s tradition of three-wheeled roadsters, stepping into the spotlight as a bold electric off-roader. Powered by four motors producing 404 horsepower and 488 lb-ft of torque, this side-by-side promises dynamic performance thanks to a lightweight build of just 2,800–3,000 pounds. A 40-kWh battery delivers up to 140 miles of range, though with its massive 35-inch tires and rugged bodywork, that figure may be a bit optimistic.
Cutting-edge off-road technology
The Brawley GTS truly shines with its four-wheel steering system, which can turn the rear wheels either in sync or opposite to the fronts at speeds up to 15 mph, dramatically improving agility on rough terrain. Add in an independent suspension with 21 inches of travel and a 17.5-inch ground clearance, and you’ve got the makings of a serious off-road machine.
Comfort and premium features
Unlike most side-by-sides, the Brawley GTS offers a fully enclosed cabin with heating, air conditioning, and four heated bucket seats with four-point harnesses. The interior keeps things simple with a switch panel for accessory control, while standard equipment includes a four-speaker audio system with an optional eight-inch subwoofer.

Adventure-ready… and street-ready too
Even though side-by-sides aren’t typically designed for street use, many U.S. states allow them to be registered, and the Brawley GTS comes prepared with features like a windshield wiper/washer system and a CCS Combo fast-charging port. It also includes front and rear receiver hitches with a 1,500-pound towing capacity, ideal for winches, snowplows, or protective plates.
A new contender in the big leagues
Priced at $49,950, the Vanderhall Brawley GTS enters the same arena as vehicles like the Ford Bronco and other traditional off-roaders. The real question is whether hardcore enthusiasts will embrace it as a serious alternative. One thing is certain: with its electric powertrain, extreme design, and premium features, Vanderhall is proving that this side-by-side is no toy—it’s a legitimate heavyweight in the off-road world.
