The new Ford app, the direct successor to FordPass, marks a turning point in the digital strategy of the Blue Oval brand. Featuring a cleaner, more minimalist, and adaptive design, this latest version integrates an intuitive interface that prioritizes the most relevant information: vehicle location, remote commands, and overall status, all accessible right from the home screen.

The app automatically adjusts to the phone’s light or dark mode, enhancing visibility under different lighting conditions. Users can also add custom widgets to quickly access key functions such as locking and unlocking doors or checking the battery level in electric models.

Full Compatibility and Smarter Services

One of the major upgrades comes with expanded compatibility with smartwatches (Apple Watch and Wear OS), allowing drivers to control their vehicle directly from their wrist. Meanwhile, the Smart Services section has been redesigned to deliver a smoother and more precise maintenance experience. The Pickup & Delivery feature, which coordinates home collection and drop-off, now uses Google Maps to calculate distances and timings with higher accuracy.
