This zero-emission variant would complement the classic full hybrid versions. Toyota would fit superior electric motors to significantly improve efficiency and response. The introduction of a plug-in hybrid is also not ruled out. They might borrow this system from the new RAV4. This option would offer a much wider electric range. Furthermore, the model would obtain the valuable Zero label from the DGT.
