SEAT Unveils the Deep Restyling of the Ibiza and Arona 2026 Before Their Hybrid Transition
The Spanish manufacturer will begin sales of its most important models during 2026. Both vehicles will retain their gasoline engines in this key update.
The year 2026 promises to be very important for SEAT. In this way, the Spanish manufacturer will begin sales of the renovated Ibiza and Arona. These are two of the brand’s most important models in terms of sales. The vehicles have been updated in design and equipment. Nevertheless, they maintain their initial gasoline engines. Subsequently, the range will be enriched starting in 2027. This will happen with the debut of mild hybrid versions. With them, the cars will carry the DGT’s Eco label.
SEAT Arona 2026: Aesthetic Refresh and Dates
The SEAT Arona presents its planned second restyling. It introduces a series of important updates. This refreshes the Spanish urban SUV without altering its recognized image. For example, the aesthetics gain redesigned Full LED headlights. It also features an updated grille and new wheels up to 18 inches. Furthermore, it adds new body colors. It can have a contrasting roof. The interior maintains the familiar layout. The updated infotainment has improved graphics. It is still based on 8.2 and 9.2-inch screens. Its anticipated market arrival is January 2026. Prices start from 23,060 euros.
SEAT Ibiza 2026: Focus on Technology and Seats
Meanwhile, the SEAT Ibiza also receives its second restyling. The novelties are mainly focused on the front and technology. The design receives a redesigned radiator grille. The front and rear headlights have new light signatures. The wheels also have a renewed look. On board, the new, more enveloping FR sports seats stand out. These seats are inspired by models from a superior category.

Cabin Novelties and Digital Screens
The digital instrumentation is 10.2 inches. Likewise, the infotainment system is 8.2 or 9.2 inches. Both receive updated graphics. In summary, the interior technology improves the onboard experience. The Ibiza’s anticipated arrival is scheduled for January 2026. Its entry prices start at 18,520 euros.
Confirmed Engines and the Hybrid Leap
Finally, the already known engines for the Ibiza are confirmed. This includes the 1.0 engine with 80, 95, or 115 hp. In addition, they have the 1.5 turbocharged engine with 150 hp. This latter one is the most brilliant in performance. The Arona offers its 1.0 turbo engine with 95 or 115 hp. It also has the 1.5 with 150 hp. As already mentioned, versions equipped with mild hybrid mechanics will arrive for both models in 2027.
