SEAT Ibiza 2026: a closer look at its interior and boot space
More technology, new materials, and greater comfort to keep the iconic Spanish supermini alive.

The SEAT Ibiza 2026 arrives with a second facelift that strengthens its position within the highly competitive small car segment. While it retains its familiar silhouette, the Spanish model gains improvements in technology, materials, and equipment, appealing to drivers who want a city car that feels both modern and functional.
Updated interior with higher quality and better connectivity
The dashboard of the updated Ibiza keeps its ergonomic design but now features a central touchscreen of up to 9.2 inches, depending on the trim level. The infotainment system debuts faster software with refreshed graphics, while retaining the touch-sensitive volume controls – a choice that still divides opinion among more traditional users. A 15W cooled wireless smartphone charger has also been added, a feature usually reserved for higher-segment vehicles.
In front of the driver, the 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster now offers sharper graphics and a more customizable layout. Automatic versions retain the classic gear lever on the centre console – a deliberate choice by SEAT to preserve a more intuitive and familiar driving experience.
Improved materials and new sport seats
Without major revolutions, the SEAT Ibiza 2026 enhances its soft-touch plastics on the upper dashboard and introduces new decorative inserts on doors and side panels. The FR trim stands out in particular, now fitted with standard sport seats featuring integrated headrests and more prominent side bolsters. Contrasting stitching and coloured details add a sporty touch that elevates the cabin’s overall sense of quality.
Interior space and boot: still among the best

The cabin space remains one of the Ibiza’s strong suits. Four adults can travel comfortably, with generous head- and legroom, although the high central tunnel still limits comfort for a fifth passenger. The boot offers 355 litres of capacity, expanding to more than 1,100 litres with the rear seats folded, ranking among the largest in its class.
Overall, the SEAT Ibiza 2026 doesn’t reinvent itself but refines its winning formula. It improves in perceived quality, technology, and comfort, reinforcing its reputation as one of the most balanced, practical, and appealing small cars on the Spanish market.
