SEAT Arona 2026: the Spanish SUV refreshes with Full LED headlights and a breakthrough price from €20,411
SEAT’s urban crossover updates its design, enhances technology, and retains its dynamic DNA to challenge segment leaders with a highly competitive offer.
The SEAT Arona 2026 is now on sale in Spain with a clear strategy: competitive pricing, solid standard equipment, and class-leading driving dynamics. In this second facelift, the urban SUV receives subtle styling updates inside and out, while taking a step forward in connectivity and safety systems. All of this comes without sacrificing one of its key strengths: a spacious cabin and a 400-litre boot, an outstanding figure in its segment.
Efficient TSI engine with an urban focus

Under the bonnet, the Arona 2026 features the well-known 1.0 TSI engine producing 95 hp, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. It is not designed for long-distance touring, but it is perfectly suited to daily use: 0–100 km/h in 11.1 seconds, a top speed of 182 km/h, and an official combined consumption of 5.3 l/100 km, translating to a realistic 6–6.5 litres in mixed driving. It does without an Eco label for now, although mild-hybrid versions will join the range in 2027, a key step toward future emissions regulations.
The entry-level Arona + trim stands out for its generous specification. Standard equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, Full LED headlights, air conditioning, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, and an 8.25-inch touchscreen, along with the Full Link infotainment system offering wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Light and parking sensors are also included, a level of equipment rarely seen in base versions.
On the safety front, the Spanish SUV delivers a strong package with six airbags and a comprehensive suite of ADAS, including autonomous emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, cruise control with speed limiter, and hill-start assist. This level of safety strengthens its position against rivals such as the Toyota Yaris Cross, Renault Captur, and Ford Puma.
From a dynamic standpoint, the SEAT Arona 2026 remains one of the most agile and enjoyable SUVs in its class, thanks largely to the Volkswagen Group’s MQB A0 platform and a finely tuned chassis. This balance and precision echo the engineering philosophy seen in modern motorsport, even in highly demanding disciplines like Formula 1. With the current promotion, the Arona 1.0 TSI 95 hp + is available from €20,411 with financing, including a 10-year or 200,000 km official warranty, while the cash price stands at €22,211, making it a very compelling proposition in the segment.
