The SUV market is heating up once again with the arrival of the Opel Mokka Ultimate 2026, a version that directly targets the most well-equipped models in the segment. After the success of the sporty GSE and the attractive entry price below 20,000 euros, Opel doubles down with a proposal that blends luxury, efficiency and a more exclusive design.

A trim level that reaches higher

Under the Ultimate designation, Opel introduces the most sophisticated finish in the Mokka range. On the outside, it features two-tone bodywork, gloss-black accents, Matrix LED headlights and 18-inch alloy wheels, a visual package that places it on par with –and even above– rivals such as the Dacia Duster, Ford Puma, Hyundai KONA, MG ZS, Renault Captur, SEAT Arona 2026 and Volkswagen T-Cross.

Inside, the step forward is undeniable. The Mokka Ultimate greets the driver with aluminum pedals, a frameless auto-dimming mirror, mixed fabric/synthetic leather upholstery, a black roof lining and a heated synthetic-leather steering wheel, reinforcing that premium feel today’s buyers seek. It also includes a wireless charger, keyless entry and start, advanced climate control and a multimedia system with navigation and Mirror Screen capability.

Safety equipment also moves up a notch. This version adds adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go, a 180º panoramic rear camera, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, traffic-sign recognition, as well as lane-keeping and automatic high-beam assistants. A package that positions it among the best-equipped urban SUVs on the market.

Under the bonnet sits the new 145-hp Hybrid engine, a mild-hybrid petrol powertrain delivering 230 Nm to the front axle and boasting the Eco environmental badge. Paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, it sprints from 0–100 km/h in 8.2 seconds, reaches 209 km/h, and records an impressive 4.8 l/100 km combined consumption under the WLTP cycle.

Finally, we come to pricing: the Opel Mokka Ultimate 1.2T XHT Hybrid eDCT6 145 hp Automatic 2026 starts at €33,549, although early deals drop the figure to €30,649, a very aggressive price for an SUV aiming to play in the premium league without sacrificing efficiency or technology.
