Nissan Set to Transform 2026 With Three Key EVs That Will Shake Up the Market
Micra, LEAF and Juke usher in a new 100% electric era for the Japanese brand, with more range, more technology and completely redesigned styling.
The year 2026 will be decisive for Nissan, as the brand prepares a full electric offensive with three major launches aimed directly at the heart of the European market. The Micra, LEAF and Juke will arrive fully renewed and powered exclusively by zero-emission drivetrains, strengthening Nissan’s electrification strategy at a crucial time for the industry.
Micra, LEAF and Juke: three electric bets designed to dominate their segments

Leading the charge is the Nissan Micra 2026, a city car that leaves behind the previous generation based on the Renault Clio. Now built on Renault 5 E-Tech technology, it features a more distinctive exterior and an interior that only differs in materials and small details from its French sibling. It will go on sale in January starting at €27,700, offering 122 and 150 hp powertrains paired with 40 and 52 kWh batteries, delivering 317 and 416 km of range respectively. A 95 hp version will follow later.
The new Nissan LEAF 2026 represents a major transformation. Based on the Renault Scenic, it abandons the classic compact silhouette and evolves into a larger, more stylish coupé-crossover with two massive 14.3-inch displays. Powertrain options include 52 and 75 kWh batteries with 177 and 218 hp, allowing for 436 and 604 km of range. Prices will start at around €38,000 when deliveries begin in March.
Completing the trio is the Nissan Juke 2026, which also becomes fully electric without replacing the petrol version – both will coexist in dealerships. Built on the CMF-EV platform, this urban SUV promises a more refined design and is expected to use the same batteries as the Ariya, targeting ranges between 400 and 480 km, making it a strong contender in Europe’s most competitive segment.
With these three models, Nissan aims to reinforce its position in a market increasingly dominated by electrification, offering cars that combine competitive range, updated design and cutting-edge technology. A bold strategic move that positions the brand for leadership in 2026.
