The 2026 SEAT León debuts its Model Year update, offering a versatile engine lineup and trims to suit every driver’s needs. The Spanish brand aims to keep its compact model competitive against rivals such as the Audi A3, BMW 1 Series, Volkswagen Golf, Honda Civic, and Mazda3, while preparing conventional hybrid engines for 2028 and a major refresh in 2029.
Engines and Performance

The engine range starts with 1.5 TSI gasoline engines producing 115 and 150 hp, including eTSI mild-hybrid (MHEV) versions with a seven-speed DSG gearbox and Eco label. For diesel fans, the 2.0 TDI is available with 115 hp manual or 150 hp DSG. Additionally, the León offers the 1.5 e-HYBRID plug-in hybrid with 204 hp, a six-speed DSG, CERO emissions rating, and up to 133 km of electric range, combining efficiency and versatility in one model.
Trims and Equipment
The 2026 León features 12 trims, starting with the Style (XS, XM, XL, EVO Edition, Special Edition) and continuing with the sporty FR trims (XS, XM, XL, XXL, Special Edition, Special Edition ECO, 75th Anniversary). Even the base version includes seven airbags, automatic climate control, Keyless-Go, cruise control, LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, parking sensors, touchscreen multimedia system, and leather steering wheel, ensuring high levels of comfort and safety.

Prices for the 2026 SEAT León start at €28,160 for the 1.5 TSI Style XS and go up to €42,970 for the 1.5 e-HYBRID FR 75th Anniversary DSG, offering excellent value for money in the compact segment with options for every budget and driving style.
