INTELLIGENT MOBILITY
New Lexus Sport Coupe Concept 2025: The Hybrid Interior That Redefines Luxury Performance
The interior of the new Lexus Coupe Concept is turning heads with its futuristic design and hybrid technology. The Japanese brand takes another confident step toward the perfect blend of innovation, performance, and sustainability, setting the stage for one of the most anticipated premium sports cars in recent years.
Lexus has just given us a first look inside its new performance coupé, and what was initially thought to be a mere prototype now looks remarkably close to a production-ready model. The Sport Concept, unveiled in August, previews a vehicle that seamlessly combines elegance, precision, and hybrid efficiency, underlining the brand’s commitment to electrified mobility without compromising driver engagement.
The most striking feature is the absence of a central infotainment screen. Instead, Lexus has created a wraparound digital cockpit with three distinct displays — a central cluster flanked by two smaller “wing” screens showing vital energy, charge, and performance data.
Hybrid technology inspired by racing engineering
The instrument cluster clearly reveals a 70% battery level, along with “Power” and “Charge” indicators, confirming that this model is indeed a hybrid sports car. It also displays tire temperature and pressure, details often found in professional racing dashboards — a clear nod to Formula 1-inspired engineering.
The yoke-style steering wheel integrates a series of physical controls, paddles, and switches. One paddle, marked “RE”, is believed to adjust regenerative braking levels, showcasing Lexus’s focus on delivering a highly connected and intuitive driving experience. Every control feels purpose-built for precision.

Minimalist approach, driver-focused experience
The Sport Coupe Concept embraces a minimalist yet ergonomic design philosophy, eliminating distractions to keep the driver fully engaged. There’s no central infotainment display for the passenger — reinforcing the idea that the cockpit is entirely driver-centric.
A subtle green accent runs across the dashboard and door panels, while metallic lattice trims integrate buttons for 360° cameras, parking assist, climate control, and defrosters. Every detail reflects Lexus’s omotenashi spirit — a Japanese concept focused on thoughtful hospitality and harmony between human and machine.
A new era of hybrid luxury for Lexus
With this prototype, Lexus sets the tone for the next generation of electrified performance cars, where power meets environmental awareness. This hybrid sports coupé is not only about speed — it represents intelligence, craftsmanship, and sustainability.
If the exterior promises excellence, the interior confirms it: Lexus is defining the future of performance luxury, merging Japanese artistry with Formula 1-grade innovation. The result is one of the most exciting upcoming sports cars in the global automotive scene.
