MTM Pangaea GT: Meet the 1,100 HP Audi RS 6 Avant Forged in Pure Carbon Fiber
Only 25 fortunate people worldwide will get to drive the Pangaea GT. It is more of a race car than a family wagon, redefining hyper-exclusivity.
When a standard Audi RS 6 Avant no longer satisfies the hunger for speed, a completely new concept is invented. This is exactly what the specialist MTM has achieved. The Pangaea GT is not a simple tuning project; it’s a profound statement on wheels. Hidden beneath its spectacular body are 1,100 HP and 1,200 Nm of torque, figures usually reserved for a hypercar. This stunning wagon appears designed to challenge the laws of physics on the legendary Nürburgring circuit.
The DNA of a GT3 in a Wagon
The genes of the original RS 6 are still recognizable, but the Pangaea GT sits far above the production model. MTM has revised or replaced virtually every part, resulting in the first vehicle entirely developed by the company. In fact, its very existence serves as a clear challenge to firms like Bugatti and Ferrari. The name Pangaea evokes the ancient supercontinent, and the car combines brutal performance with meticulous engineering.
The key to this “monster” is its bodywork, manufactured entirely from carbon fiber. All panels, including the roof, diffuser, and fenders, have been redesigned and are custom-made. At 5.13 meters long and 2.12 meters wide, this car is significantly larger than the RS 6 Avant. However, the carbon serves a vital function beyond aesthetics: it saves weight and increases structural rigidity.

Under its imposing hood lies the famed 4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. Nevertheless, it is presented in a radically evolved form, including new turbochargers and specific software. The result of this mechanical artistry is astounding: 1,100 HP and 1,200 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under 2.5 seconds, reaching 200 km/h in just eight seconds. The top speed is close to 350 km/h.
The interior is dominated by customization and exclusivity, positioning traditional comfort in a secondary role. Instead of the usual five seats, we find four individual carbon fiber seats. Alcantara, leather, and visible carbon fiber merge to create a racing atmosphere. The central console is more reminiscent of a GT3 cockpit than that of a family vehicle. The Pangaea GT is limited to only 25 units. It is a jewel for those who seek to experience performance rather than simply explain it.
