Mercedes-Benz Announces Pricing for the New Electric CLA 2026: Smart Luxury with Up to 600 km Range

The new electric CLA is the brand’s smartest model to date. It is also the first of an entirely new family of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. This compact sedan sets new standards in the industry. Furthermore, it offers intuitive technologies, striking design, and increased comfort. Thanks to an advanced 800-volt electric architecture, the new CLA maximizes performance and efficiency. This significantly reduces charging times. The model celebrates its press launch in the US in December. The first vehicles will hit US roads shortly after.

Striking Design and Optimized Aerodynamics

The sporty exterior design of the new CLA impresses with its elegant fastback silhouette. It also features sculpted details and an imposing GT rear design. At the front, an impressive iconic grille comes as standard. This grille features 142 individually illuminated stars and an illuminated central Mercedes-Benz star.

This design is complemented by standard high-performance LED headlights. Moreover, the optional intelligent LED lighting system incorporates a distinctive star-shaped daytime running light. The optional electric flush exterior door handles are available. They are included in the Exclusive and Pinnacle trims. Additionally, they enhance the sporty exterior and contribute to optimized aerodynamics.

Fast Charging and Exterior Personalization

The CLA’s 800-volt architecture enables DC fast charging up to 320 kW. With this capability, the car increases its range by 160 km in just five minutes. Likewise, it achieves up to 325 km of range in just 10 minutes.

Customers can personalize the CLA’s exterior with eight paints, including two new colors. These are Liquid Crystal Green and Sky Blue Metallic. An optional Night Package is also offered. Buyers can choose from aerodynamic wheel designs in 17, 18, and 19 inches. Finally, the AMG Line and AMG Line Plus lines, with the Night Package, are available for an even more dynamic appearance.

Interior Technology and Driver Assistance

Customization possibilities extend to the CLA’s interior. Upholstery is available in MB-Tex/Microfiber, MB-Tex, and leather. There is a wide range of styles, plus open-pore wood, aluminum, and natural fiber finishes. The new optional MBUX Superscreen stands out on the dashboard. This display includes a 10.25-inch screen for the driver, a 14-inch central display, and an additional 14-inch screen for the passenger. All these screens are integrated behind a large glass surface.

The new CLA includes the most comprehensive set of advanced driver assistance systems for the compact model series to date. These standard systems include the DISTRONIC Digital Distance Assistant and Blind Spot Assist Plus with Exit Warning. Evasive Steering Function and Lane Keeping Function are also included. The optional MB.DRIVE ASSIST package complements the standard systems with Digital Steering Assist and Lane Change Assist.
