Lancia 2026: All the News on the Upcoming Electric and Hybrid Gamma

The Lancia Gamma will debut in 2026 with hybrid, PHEV, and fully electric powertrains, marking the rebirth of the iconic Italian brand.

After a consolidation year for the new Lancia Ypsilon, 2026 will see the launch of the Lancia Gamma, the second model following the brand’s revival. After years of offering only one model sold exclusively in Italy, Lancia is set to expand its lineup, aiming to have three vehicles by 2029.

Cutting-Edge Design and Style

The Gamma will adopt a fastback design with around 4.7 meters in length, combining a sedan silhouette with a coupé-like aerodynamic profile. Its styling is inspired by the Pu+Ra HPE concept, showcasing the future design language of Lancia. Positioned in the D-segment, the model will focus on elegance, technology, and efficiency.

Platform and Powertrains

The Gamma will be built on the STLA Medium platform and produced at Lancia’s Melfi plant in Italy. It will launch with hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric versions. The mild hybrid version pairs a 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbo engine with 145 hp and a 29 hp electric motor. The PHEV delivers 195 hp combined, while the fully electric model will offer up to 700 km of range in the long-range version.

HF Sport Versions

Lancia will also offer a sporty HF fully electric version, featuring all-wheel drive and up to 325 hp combined. While its range will be slightly lower than the 700 km of the long-range model, this version focuses on performance and driving excitement, following the philosophy of Stellantis’ high-performance electric vehicles.
