The Leapmotor A10 has just been revealed in its first official photos, following prior patent images. The compact urban SUV is set to debut tomorrow, November 21, and will soon compete in the highly competitive B-segment crossover market. Its main rivals include the Kia EV3 and the Citroën ë-C3 Aircross, highlighting the challenges Leapmotor faces in Europe.

Balanced Design Meets Advanced Technology

The A10 maintains Leapmotor’s signature design language with a clean front fascia, a closed grille, trapezoidal air intake, and elongated headlights, giving it a distinctive presence. One standout feature is the LiDAR sensor on the roof, signaling the SUV will come equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), possibly supporting semi-autonomous driving. Integrated door handles enhance aerodynamics, while grey plastic wheel arches lend a more adventurous touch. Rectangular taillights complete a modern and cohesive rear design.

Practical Safety Features

Leapmotor hasn’t skimped on safety: the A10 integrates cameras and blind-spot sensors into the front fenders, a feature still uncommon in its segment. While official dimensions haven’t been released, industry sources suggest the A10 will closely resemble the BYD Atto 2, measuring around 4.31 meters long, 1.83 meters wide, and 1.67 meters tall, positioning it neatly between the smaller T03 urban SUV and the compact B05.

Performance and Range Expectations

Technical details are being held until the official debut, but the A10 is expected to share the Leap 3.0 platform with its larger siblings, such as the B10, currently available in Spain starting at €19,990. Speculations indicate a power output around 170 kW (231 hp), slightly below the B10’s 218 hp, and a maximum range of 530 km under Chinese test cycles, which is likely higher than the European WLTP rating.

Colors, Pricing, and Launch

The initial color palette features green and brown finishes, likely to be highlighted in Leapmotor’s marketing campaigns. All final specifications, prices, range, and variants will be revealed at the Guangzhou Auto Show in just a few hours, making the A10 one of the most anticipated entries in the urban electric SUV segment.
